Seth Meyers talks all things Late Night

Seth Meyers joined us to talk all about the craft of writing, hosting and producing Late Night with Seth Meyers for over 10 years,  He reminisced about finding his footing when he first started hosting the show after Lorne Michaels instilled in him that it would take 18 months to find his rhythm.  Famously, 18 months into hosting the show, he moved the monologue from standing center stage to sitting at the desk and it changed everything for him.  For Seth, the passion and joy he has in making the show each night has always shone through and felt like a natural part of it all.  He also spoke about his famous digital series Corrections and his love for Jackals even if sometimes he wishes certain mistakes would go unnoticed.  He also shared the behind the scenes of Day Drinking with Seth and how his producer watches the first edit of the segment before he sees it and relives the day.  One of the most important things he has found along the way is the necessity to trust his instincts, something which he had from his tenure on Saturday Night Live, but had to re-establish in taking on Late Night.
