Lauren Graham, Nico Santos and the cast of The Z-Suite on bringing the workplace comedy to life

We spoke to reator/writer/showrunner Katie O'Brien, actor & executive producer Lauren Graham, and actors Nico Santos Madison Shamoun, Spencer Stevenson, Anna Bezahler, and Evan Marshabout bringing the new Tubi workplace comedy The Z-Suite to Life.  Creator and showrunner Katie O'Brien spoke about wanting to create an intergenerational comedy which at the same time looks at a lot of the similarities shared by its fictional characters in what they're striving for.

Lauren Graham and Nico Santos play executives who after many years in the business are booted out of the company they helped to build which they found a ripe place for finding comedy in how they deal with this fallout.  They both described how their characters are trying to figure out their sense of identity and self in the wake of losing what is most important to them.  Along with Katie O'Brien they spent a lot of time finding the right comedic tone within the series by experimenting with what landed most effectively for their characters.

Madison Shamoun, Spencer Stevenson, Anna Bezahler, and Evan Marsh found bringing their Gen Z characters to life to be such a joy and especially loved both working together on scenes, but also being able to learn from cast members Graham and Santos.;
