Tramell Tillman on building exciting tension in Severance season 2

Tramell Tillman constantly finds so many layers in playing Milchick in the AppleTV+ series Severance and spoke with us about the added layers to his character stepping into season 2 and all of his relationships with Lumon's innies.

He found a lot of detailing in his performance comes from the fact that Milchik is often keeping a lot of his emotions concealed and so a lot comes into play with micro expressions.  In terms of what he knows about Lumon's work, it's very much in line with Milchick that he knows more than the audience but also sees him as someone who is comfortable not asking too many questions or needing to fill in the gaps.

Since Mrs Cobel who was very much a mentor figure to him is no longer at Lumon, he spoke about the added pressure he is under and the fact Milchick is very much told to handle things how he sees fit giving him both freedom and some added stress to the job.  He noted that Milchick has definitely been working full speed in visiting all of the innies outies and added that he hadn't realized he was a motorcycle guy until he read it in the script.

Tramell shared how he hopes audiences will enjoy seeing a lot more depth to his character in the show in understanding he's not all fully bad.
