Elle Fanning on Leading The Girl From Plainville and The Great

Elle Fanning recently joined us to talk about her leading turns in both The Girl From Plainville as well as The Great.  

After working on The Great and playing Catherine for two seasons now, she really loves how the show gives her such an opportunity to explore and expand upon her comedic skills as an actor.  She also shared how she approaches a lot of scenes which allow us a window into the moments behind closed doors for the monarch.  In playing alongside Nicholas Hoult, she enjuoyed the way the two of them are able to create a constant push and pull between their characters in spaces which capturee both animosity ad love between them.  

Her preparation for The Girl From Plainville was extensive, and included having access to read all of the text message from the original court case.  This gave her a real window into her character and she shared how her and Colton Ryan played scenes where their characters are texting back and forth with one and other.
