Joshua Jackson on the Moral Complexity of Fatal Attraction

Joshua Jackson loves a character with complicated elements and the moral complexity of Dan Gallagher in Fatal Attraction was a large part of the draw in making the show. He spoke to us about a character for whom he doesn’t make excuses and examined how each decision Dan makes leads him deeper down the rabbit hole throughout the series— to a point where there’s no way out for him. He relished working with co-star Lizzy Kaplan and building their dynamic together in the show. He also shared some of the challenges of filming over the course of several years in his characters journey and how he used both emotional and physical aspects to vary his performance at different time points in the story.
