Eugenio Derbez and Samara Weaving on Heart & Humor in The Valet

We sat down with Eugenio Derbez and Samara Weaving to talk about their Hulu film The Valet. As a producer on the film, Derbez spoke to the elements that were important to him within the story both as an actor and as a creative voice behind the scenes. The two of them discussed creating the chemistry of friendship between their characters and how they wanted to create the connectivity between them. They also spoke to some of the comedic moments in the show and how they landed on certain choices to land this. Through having a space with a lot of creative freedom they were able to find both humour and heart in their performances alongside one and other.
