Charm, Laughter, and Chemistry with the Cast of Ted Lasso

We sat down with the cast of Ted Lasso with friend and fellow actor, Yvette Nicole Brown moderating. The cast shared a playful chemistry, something they said was the best part of being in a comedy ensemble like Ted Lasso, where writer/actors Brendan Hunt and Brett Goldstein encouraged laughter on set and playing off of each other’s energy and sense of humor. You could feel the joy as the the cast continued to burst out in laughter, riff on jokes, and make impressions of each other.The two writers wanted to continue exploring the themes set up when the show first started while also presenting a love letter to the process of therapy. From hating Nate as a character to Sam and Rebecca’s newfound romance, the cast kept coming back to finding moments of humor while exploring the depth, maturity, and growth that characters go through in the new season.
