Sharon Horgan On the Joy of Writing Dark Humor with Bad Sisters

Sharon Horgan shares details on her new Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters which she creates, executive produces and stars in alongside Anne-Marie Duff, Sarah Greene, Eva Birthistle, Eve Hewson and Claes Bang.  With her previous tv show creations including the tonally rich Pulling, Motherland, Catastrophe and more, the challenge of Bad Sisters was finding a balance which was driven by humor but also dealt with sensitive subject matter in a central storyline focused around domestic abuse.

As well as writing, producing and acting, Horgan also heads up her own production company, Merman, where as the slate of projects she is across has expanded has created even more of a focus on the necessity of strong collaborations for her.
