Raegan Revord on Saying Goodbye to Young Sheldon

We recently sat down to talk with Raegan Revord about the final season of Young Sheldon and her plans for the future. She reflected on the growth she’s had since the beginning of the show, especially in terms of learning to be comfortable with making mistakes rather than expecting perfection for every take. Since the show has been running for nearly eight years, Raegan has begun to grow up alongside her character and she highlighted how her shared experiences with Missy have led to more authentic acting. She added that the evolution of her character’s outfits and the subtle shift in familial dynamics were necessary to demonstrate Missy’s development as she grows older.

Raegan touched on the connection her castmates have off set and her appreciation for the opportunities she’s had to learn from the more seasoned actors. While she’ll miss the family she’s found through filming the show for the past eight years, she’s looking forward to the future and is highly anticipating the release of her first book, Rules for Fake Girlfriends.
