Andie McDowell, Chyler Leigh, Sadie Laflamme-Snow lead Hallmark's Latest Binge-Worthy Series, The Way Home

In talking about the Hallmark Channel series The Way Home, we sat down with the Landy women themselves— Andie McDowell, Chyler Leigh, and Sadie Laflamme-Snow, along with actor Evan Williams who plays the families closest friend and ally, Elliot. Through stepping into this project the cast found themselves enveloped into a story of complex family history and unexpected time travel through a lake.

For Andie McDowell, found the task of playing both a present day version of her character, and one who is 20 years younger, to be a daunting but exciting challenge with a myriad of physical differences in the two versions of the character.

One of the things the cast enjoyed most about the collaborative nature of the project and portraying a family finding their way back to one and other, was how each of them bought their own ideas and techniques to both their characters and their roles.

As actors, they spoke highly about the instant chemistry and trust amongst the cast along with the project being one where everybody felt that they were working on something special together.
