The Creators of Hacks Have Always Known Where the Show is Going

We chatted to the creators of Hacks with Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs and Jen Statsky.  They shared details on how they've always mapped out several seasons of the show and so in creating season 2 had always known where Deborah and Ava were going story wise.  They spoke about the challenges of writing standup comedy within a comedy series since it has to also give us more details on Deborah each time we see her on stage.  In speaking about the episode where Deborah ends up performing on a lesbian cruise, they also divulged where the genesis of this idea stemmed from!
